Sometimes if you can’t find something to photograph, you have to create something to photograph. Abstract photography was one of the first genres that I experimented with. There is a certain beauty that comes with creating your own interpretation of a piece compared to knowing what it is at first sight.
I recently went through a box of old architecture study models. Although most have seen better days, there was a paper folding technique that I’ve always enjoyed. I started to recreate the same idea with the mindset of photography. This is Abstract Blue: Folding paper
