Looking Up

I’ve been wanting to do a series like this ever since I picked up my camera. Like A Portrait of a Flower, I hope to be able to add a picture every week. This idea originated from my love of architecture and urban exploration. When I first got my camera I would travel to Chicago and photograph everything I saw. Although I enjoyed taking pictures of people, flowers and buildings, nothing seemed to be as powerful to me as my pictures of looking up at Chicago. It may be the scale of the buildings that first drew me in but I’ve been exploring this perspective ever since. I hope this series not only inspires me to explore more in photography, but you as well. This is Looking Up.
