Chicago has always been my favorite place for photography and architecture. I would walk around shooting pictures of buildings but was never satisfied with how they turned out. I began zooming in on buildings, disregarding if one new what/ where I was photographing. This began my interest in abstract architecture. Framing, lighting and shadows began to be the main focal point whenever I photograph architecture or abstract photography in general. These are balconies from a residential building in Chicago designed by Perkins + Will. Little building blocks stacked upon each other creating this facade.
