This was my first visit to the Chicago Cultural Center and it definitely will not be my last. Walking through the front doors I did not know what to expect, but it seemed like at every corner I turned there was always a subtle surprise. From architectural photography displayed in the halls to art exhibits and events, it provided a satisfaction to my curious appetite. What really struck me though was the detail in the architecture, especially in the two stained-glass domes. The intricate patterns; the extraordinary craftsmanship; it’s a piece of art in itself. They say that this building was designed to impress and impress it did.
